350 Rocket from a '70 needs revitilization

I just got a 350 Rocket out of a '70 Cutlass and have just pulled my tired 260 out of my 81 Cutlass. The 350 is really dirty and just plain old. What should I do to it before dropping it in the '81? I.E. new pan gasket, valve cover gasket etc...I'm not too familiar with working on motors so pulling the heads and valves etc would be a little too advanced for me but I'm open to having a shop do some stuff to it if not too spendy.
Also, should I get a bigger radiator for this motor or will the factory radiator that's in here be sufficient?
Also, I've got an Edlebrock carb for it and don't know if I need to get a Edlebrock manifold or how I'm going to handle the linkage too because the linkage for the 350 Rocket manifold is nothing like the linkage on the 260 manifold.
Thanks!

You should check compresssion, pull the pan look at the bearings, clean up the pan and pump if sludgy, fix any visible oil leaks, this is the minumum short of a rebuild. To check the carb check the number and see if Edlkebrock can tell you if it fits the stock manifold. The linkage will have to be modified, maybe from the existing set ups, this is all basic stuff what you plan. BTW, why all the pics unrelated to your questions? A clean factory radiator will do the job.

Thanks, all the pics is cause everybody loves pics in a forum. Cleaned it all up today and will be pulling pan etc.
Also trying to find out more info on the motor, the number on the block in front of the intake manifold is: 395558 so I'm doing some research on that.
