Citroën C6

Now available (since may 2006) with a diesel 2.7 V6 Twin Turbo Hdi 204hp and a gas V6 3.0 210hp. A diesel 2.2 Hdi 170hp will arrive before the end of 2006.
A boosted V6 could appear in 2007-2008 with more or less 300hp, but nothing official, and why not a V8.
Interessant equipments : an active cap in order to not injure the pedestrians (see photo), the speed and main infos on the windshield (like on corvette and 5 series), ecc.

active cap :

One of the few cars that I like presently.

The expressive essence of the object is very classical.

In fact if you try to imagine it without wheels you are communicating with past models. Incredible how design can both witness the past and future.

I love it, but this design is completely out of sync (to its credit) with today's "de$ign trend $tandard$"

I'm almost certain Citroen is destined with C6 to loose more than ... (lets see) he would gain.

Not that I'm happy about that, but it is much to decent and profound for general audience.

Re: Citroën C6

Cad1cts : maybe one day ! Who knows ! Alfa Romeo is coming back in the US, I think that French makers will look if Alfa succeed a little bit, before doing anything.

Volken : I don't know if they don't win money with the C6. But for sure, Citroën wanted to do something "very French", in order to compete with the classical German cars (Audi, BMW and Mercedes remaining the main sellers in their segment) in a different way.
