This vehicle chews through light bulbs
Has anyone noticed that these vehicle are extremely hard on exterior light bulbs. The taillights and headlights MIGHT last 6 months before they need to be replaced. This is not isolated to my van only. We have other sprinters, 2 - 2006 and 1 - 2008. Dealership has NO comment!!

Re: This vehicle chews through light bulbs
I have heard that the sockets for the tail lights become corroded and cause various electrical problems.

Re: This vehicle chews through light bulbs
Are they of the 3157 wedge Variety?
If so... you can now get #4111k & 4114k (Wagners) which are suppose to be H/D. I started using these on the DRL's for the GM trucks. So far so good! I purchased them through NAPA. A little more expensive but if they last.

Re: This vehicle chews through light bulbs
Disregard my last post aparently the sprinters use the bayonet style bulb.
They make these bulbs in LED now, which might help your situation. Sorry I don't have part numbers for them.
