Oil Change

For the life of me, I can't figure out how to reset the "oil needs service" reminder on the dash of my 2005 GTO. Manual says to turn the ignition key on, pump the accelerator twice within 5 seconds, then turn the ignition key to the off position.

It don't work!!!

And yes, there's oil in the car!!!

Re: Oil Change

read your owners manual again...it should say pump gas pedal 3 times within 5 seconds.

Re: Oil Change

Most of the manuals do say to press the pedal twice... it is a misprint. Do the same procedure but press the pedal three times.
