need a vinyl paint that matches the black dash
I'm not sure if I should use a flat black or a glossy black. I want to paint the gray trim (where most people put there extra gauges)

Flat black is really dull looking so that isin't going to match. Gloss black is probably going to look really shinny also. Maybe try and find something in between. If not I would go with gloss probably. You could always do both.

The stuff I used turned out pretty nice. Can't remember exactly which one it was but I'll find out for ya...

So here is what I used...
I used Satin black by VHT and I believe it is the closest thing you can get to a factory black... Here is the one I used for my dash, center console, etc... VHT Plastic Paint And here is what I used for my seats... VHT Vinyl Dye I don't know if you remember the before and after pics or not. My website is in the process of being moved to a new host so I don't have any of my pics online anymore. I'll see if I can't get some up for you somewhere else for the time being...
