Is it ok to......
Is it ok to leave paint in an airbrush between coats when painting a shell or will it kill it? I'm new to airbrushing if you haven't guessed

Re: Is it ok to......
I once left some acrylic paint in the cup for about 2 hours, after I came back to it, I just had to add more thinner to it. Then of course it depends on what type of AB you have, I use a suction type therefore the paint are somewhat protected. but if you use a gravity fed cup, especially without the little metal cap, things can get messy.

I would mix the paint in a spare paint jar, then spray, pour it back into the jar and rinse once or twice your air brush, then you are sure you keep it pretty clean so you don't get paint blobs between coats.
