yours is great too! I guess the pics in Rossimania really save ours lives~!! And i notice that there should be 2 different Test bike at the same time by that moment. Cox there is one pic showing 2 bike in the garage~ And the decal pattern changes from time to time too~ And from the pics, I think you and I have actually done the same thing on picking up the decals from diff kits too~~haha~~~ Really glad to see some brother having the same interest~!! Re: Rossi in faith: M1 2004 Sepang Test
Wow, don't know how I missed this thread the first time. I'm actually in the process of building the '04 M1 and now I don't see the point anymore....simply awesome stuff! Those fairing stands are a great addition too adding so much character.

For the fairing stand, I used Tamiya transparent plactic rods which you may simply bend it straight away. But the nature for the plastic rod tend to bend backward so I have to implant some little copper rods in between so the position can be fixed. Super glue also helped quite a lot here. For the verticle rods, I used the normal tamiya plastic rod instead so it can stand still and straight. copper rods are also implanted in between to fix the position. afterall, I used little putty work to recreate the weldings. But i after all this are done, i think the stand can actaully be better done with other materials. This stand is just strong enough to hold the fairing so I guess i will have to think of another design or use other material the next time similar stand is built. Thanks and I am glad to do this little sharing! Joey |
