Headlight switch replacement
My son has a 1987 Grand Marquis. The headlights have been going off as he drives at night. I bought a replacement switch for him but his "automotive buddy" claims it doesn't fit. When I search for the replacement switch, they give me many options. How do I know which is the correct one? Also, I tried getting inside the dash to pull the switch out but couldn't get the access panel open wide enough to fit my stubby hands in so I could work on it. Any help telling me how to do this I would appreciate. I've replaced thermostats, relays, etc. in my Volvo so I know I can do this. Thanks.
