BMW maintenance/warranty extended?
I have a 2005 3.0 X3 and it's got 36.000 miles on it now. I have been offered by the dealer an extended maintenance for 1900$ up to 100.000 miles, and an extended warranty for 2000$ up to the same 100.000 miles.
Is any of this worth it? I can do oil changes myself , I'm just concerned about brake jobs etc., how much is one by the way? Thanks much.

First get EVERYTHING the plan covers in writing, if its not on the paper, dont assume its covered... most extended warrenties only cover defects and not maintenance items
