Mitsubishi Lancer Evo VI - Tamiya

Finally finished my first model - go easy on me. Not perfect and had a few problems along the way (you'll notice the chassis is a different colour - long story). Note the aftermarket exhaust!

Re: Mitsubishi Lancer Evo VI - Tamiya

Really nice for a first build.
I would like to see some engine details, though Perhaps some pics with the hood open?
Also, consider sanding it, to make the color a little bit more even, and then polish it.

Much better than my first build (which I've left half way, lol)

I think most of us would love to see some engine detail, but sadly the kit doesn't have any. It's curbside

Anyway, looks quite good for a first model.

Re: Mitsubishi Lancer Evo VI - Tamiya

Nice build.

What's missing - panel lines and lights seals

Rear badge is a bit out of center
Did you changed sth in the IC hoses or are they stock like this ?? cause it looks a bit strange going both inside engine compartment.
I like the rims very much - if I had those in my kit i wouldn't change them to other ones.

What odd for me - rear suspension is completly different from that in my Hasegawa kit.

What are light seals? Is that when you go around the perimeter with black to isolate the light?

Yes, that's it. A rubber sealing around the lamp (on the edge) to protect it from water getting inside.

Great job on your first one. Mine wasn't even painted, lol! I can tell your second one will be really good and I'm sure close to perfect
