Restoring Head Liner

As most of you know the 1st gen Eclipse/Talons have some crappy head liner.
Over time it ends up sagging and eventually falling off.So I was wondering what is the best way to fix that problem because last time I tried to
put new material on it I busted it all to pieces.

the headliner on my 2g has been startign to sag for a while 1st the edges.. i put some hotglue and it helped out for a while..but now the midde is startign to sag.. i was thinkign next tiem i have a few days free ill prolly take it down and put a layer of fiberglass over it. then paint it. thats the only solution i came to .. im too cheap to go get soem shop to re-do it for 80 bux..and it might sag again.... id rahter spend 25 in materials and having a weekend project..
