Crank Question

does anyone know for sure if the cast crank for a 267 is the same as a 305 ? they are both casting no. 3932442 but no one seems to know if the
counterweights are balanced the same. half the people i ask say it will interchange, the other half say no way.

Go to mortec.com they may have casting # interchange info. And no you cannot tell what's what by guessing about the the counter weight size.

Re: Crank Question

267, 305 and 350 ALL have the "442" crank. All have different balance. Most balance shops can "spin it up" and tell you which one you have. If they have a modern machine, they don't need to make up bob-weights, as the software can figure it out. They would need to make up bob-weights if they were to actually balance it, but not just to check.
