Fans always on

I got a 2000 Grand Prix GT 3.8 non s/c the fans are constantly running. The engine light is not on what could be the problem? Thanks

Is the IP temp gauge working properly? The gauge shares the same signal from the ECT sensor to determine when to turn the fans on. Fans are controlled by the PCM module.

seems to be working. fans just started to come on thursday.Now when i just turn the key to start fans kick right on.

Are both cooling fans turning on and can you determine if it is low speed or high speed?

both are on. i beleive high speed my heat doesnt get hot at all. i thought it was the fans being on all the time.
