a little shakey
just noticed my S14 got a little shakey when i am accelrating. it shakes a little bit around 1050+, but once past that point the car is completely normal again. i am thinking its the spark plug, but just want to know for sure.
thanks! |

Re: a little shakey
Could be a lot of different things. My friends 240 was doing similar (atleast it was sounding similar from your breif discription, he was discribing it as a chugging, like the engine didn't want to go, and it'd shake a lot.) and it turned out to be his MAF sensor was dirty so he cleaned it and that fixed the problem. But new spark plugs couldn't hurt either. Standard NGK's will be the best.
If I were you, I'd test the spark plugs, check your distrubter cap and arm, and your spark plug wires too. MAF sensors can be a pretty penny ($150 - $200), but if you check a pull it yourself junk yard, they can be cheeper, the one up here chargers $9 but no promas it works... |

Re: a little shakey
could be tune up, MAFS, vacuum leak, fuel injector, so on, so on.
