98 Yukon Fuel tank removal

I am trying to drop the fuel tank but it is jammed halfwy down. Is there a proper procedure for dropping the tank
It is jammed for an aft.The passenger side is low the filler tube and vent have been disconnected The fuel and return linesw are still connected

make sure ALL the lines are disconnected. dont forget electical connectors
