need g60 motor

my motor has started to act up and now won't start, i kind of think it lost compression, it started to spit all the coolant out of the motor, then over heated and quit running, any advice would help or if anyone has a motor for sale, thanks

I have an extra motor (full Long block) for sale where are you located?

Im in Jacksonville FL i have 1 motor here and one in Savannah Ga.

sounds like u just need a head gasket my friend...

where did the coolant leak from??
could be any number of things, but remember, the 8v (your motor) is the stoutest motor vw ever built, unless you ran it out of vital fluids and continued to drive it, it will more than likely be a really easy thing to fix
