Buy my Delorean, it's great!

Ok guys, tell all your rich friends about this first class Delorean. I spent $7,000 restoring it and it's damn nice now. I haven't had much luck selling it at a dealership, so I told 'em to put it up on ebay. Check it out: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...tem=2406077974

I didn't paint it, but the previous owner did. It was a $5,500 paint job, and it's a damn good one I might add. I would have prefered stainless steel though.

It looks good, I was just taken by surprise:flash: I have never seen one painted, do many owners do that? Also, would the stainless steel have been damaged during the prepping process, like sanding for instance?

I'll take Marc's black D over a stainless D anyday! Look at that finish - like a piano:smoka: Marc, you know I'd buy it tomorrow is I wasn't investing in my business right now

P.S.- Is the dealer aware that eBay has a category for DeLoreans? The "Other Makes : All Models" listing may not get any people looking in the "DeLorean" menu location

After college

Right now I'm on track to get through college without a loan which will be great once I finish...and that's why I have no money to spend on getting a nice car right now

Re: Buy my Delorean, it's great!

hmm, about deloreans...
im a huge fan and am looking to buy.
its just my opinion that painting and making any changes to the dmc-12 is foolish. they are so rare, i dont think anything, not even a change of rims should be done, but a spoiler makes one pretty nice looking in my eyes.
