What to do with my M5???

Im deciding what the first thing I should do to modify my M5 is...should I go with the exterior and add on some aftermarket rims or go with the Dinan exhaust and software download first???

What do you guys think?

Anyone have any of their M5 pics with aftermarket rims on them so I can get an idea? If so please post them...thanks!!

Dave

how long is it since your car has been to a BMW dealership? The latest DME programmes make these cars much better to drive, and it's still factory!

Hello. I would go with the exhaust and software upgrade. The beauty of the M5 is how it is a wolf in sheeps clothing. Okay, an aggressive looking sheep, but you get the idea.

For me the satisfaction of an M5 is that it has such awesome mechanical capabilities, so amplification of those would be my first focus if I were you. Good luck! Enjoy your M.

Software and Exhaust package would be the most beneficial. Most exterior mods to the M5 ruin the natural beauty of the design.

ECU and Intake Upgrades begining at $3K

I wouldn't do anything exterior, mine will be a ultimate sleeper.
But, those stock wheels need to be bigger if I have extra money. And, may be lower it a bit... Okay, why not, I'll get the exahust, too.

Re: What to do with my M5???

personally i would start with the engine mods or in your case the exhaust because the m5 is a good looking car in stock and those rims are beautiful. i wouldnt change anything on the exterior, unless ofcourse u messed up the rims.lol.

Re: What to do with my M5???

i have a 1990 e34 m5 which is great but didnt do anything extraordinary till it hit 4000 rpmish.

I fitted a dinan chip & couldnt believe the difference, power is far more accessible now, even in the lower ranges (cost me about $100 inc carriage to the UK)
