2000 Lanos knocking noise

Hey,

I've got a 2000 model lanos auto that's got a knocking noise coming from the rear passenger side, i have checked the breaks and they are fine.... anyone got any ideas what it could be?

I forgot to mention, this niose only occurs when i turn left, not when driving in a straight line or turning right.

I've got the same car and problem! Rear passenger side, sounds like metal on metal. I always thought it was the window?? Awful... Did you find what it is?

Yeah it was part of the rear brum breaks had come apart and when i turned left it was hitting on the break shoe making the knocking noise
