door lock
2000 jeep cherokee driver side door lock broken. Any good suggetions on how to fix it. every other door locks except driver side

If you have power locks, you must check to see if you are getting juice to the switch. Then check for juice on the other side of the switch. In you are dead, use a jumper wire from the fuse block to power the switch. You'll need a voltmeter to check for power or a voltage detector of some sort. My master control switch went all haywire and I had to rebuild it. Took some really strong glue and a vice.

What is broken? The door handle or the electric lock?

Its getting power, you can hear it clicking. It just wont lock the door
