new parts still no start
i'm sitll on the '93 cherokee sport. new plugs,wires,cap,rotor,battery,and the newly added starter relay. it will not turn over. temp. gauge swings all the way to the right when i turn the key? maybe shorted something out when i put the battery in? dunno! if you do let me know and save me a tow!

Have you checked to make sure that all the new parts you installed are installed properly, and that all connections are correct? Also check to make sure you have the battery + and - hooked up right, some batteries come with the terminals on the opposite side, depending on where you got them.
(I'm taking it that everything was normal before you made the changes?)

Are you sure the battery is connected properly.
Once again try new positve and negative battery cables. |

Have you used the voltmeter yet to trace the voltage. Is there voltage at the starter? How many volts?
