2000 esteem drive belt info

can anyone tell me how to change the cerpentine belt on the 1.8 motor??? i can see 2 idler pullys ...the lower one moves but there is no access to it...i have removed the pass side motor mount for batter acces but still no luck compressing the idler...is there a tool ????

Hi,

Apparently on these you have to remove the lower shroud from underneath the engine to get to it. The upper idler pulley does not move, the lower one should move downward if you turn the bolt clockwise, while it is loose remove the old belt then put the new one on.
