Bad Day for the 3000gt

As a few of may already know I have been having one problem after another with my 3000gt........very costly problems. To add to the stack of them my car was just broken into with the CD player taken, sub, amp, door panel ripped along with speaker inside the door panel, pretty much trashed the inside, ripped out part of the dome light, and even took all the wires and then popped open the hood and left it like that while my car was at Transonic Racing Innovations here in Omaha. Just figured I would update.

Shittay...well, what can I say? Sucks that it would happen. Anything you can do to say the TRI should be responsible for it being on their lot? Or do they have a sign posted saying they are not responsible for anything that happens on their property?

No I have checked, they have nothing posted nor anything that I sign that says they are not responsible if such an thing occurs. Also, when he left the car outside he said he just left it unlocked because if someone tried to break in they would just break my windows too. However, my tint is so dark you can not even see if anyone is in the car and I have a car alarm if someone tries to break in.

Usually, if you have tint on your windows and someone tries to smash them in, the tint holds the glass together. Pretty hard to get in by smashing the windows.

Anyway, if they don't have any signs posted stating they aren't responsible, try and get them to pay for the damages, or atleast give you some credit to their shop for what happened on their property.

were they doing some work on your car? If so their insurance should definitely cover the damages to your car.

Re: Bad Day for the 3000gt

If they admitted to leaving your doors unlocked...they are definitely responsible. Get a lawyer. It sucks man, and from talking to you, it sounds like they are trying to help. But seriously, they left your doors unlocked...wtf. Get your money back one way or another, even if it's threatening a lawsuit against the shop.

Re: Bad Day for the 3000gt

Yes they were doing some work on my car. Normally, I try and do everything myself but all the tools I use are in a different town and this sort of thing that he is doing I do not have the tools nor time to do it. He is trying to figure out why sometimes it starts and sometimes does not. We have narrowed it down to be the ECU more than likely. I am for sure going to check and see if his insurance covers this too. Even the Sheriff who came out there said "if your going have him pay for this give me a call at ***-***-**** .
