Hmmm... Let's see.
At 16 I can get my license to drive a vehicle that's over 4000lbs.
At 18 I can buy tobacco, vote for a president, go off to war and die for my country.
At 21 I can buy alcohol...

But I have to wait till 25 to rent a goddamn Golf Cart. Not to mention I've got a perfect driving record, and don't drink anways... bah... It's all 'insurance' reasons. ughh.
You may also be able to rent a 10000 lb U-haul truck at 18. In Michigan you certainly can.

Re: ...Give me Ideas...

even you're 21st b-day is overrated, I guess its cool to be able to "legally" buy alcohol, but most people who drink don't have a problem getting alcohol before their 21st b-day anyway...

Anyone ever notice this, if you ever attempted to buy alcohol prior to your 21st b-day, man, they would card you as soon as you got your wallet out... but I remember my 21st b-day I went into the store, grabbed some alcohol and was waiting for the cashier to card me, just so I could finally not be turned away, she never carded me that day, in fact, i've only been carded once or twice since...

what in the hell is up with that???

Re: ...Give me Ideas...

I thought it was cool to turn 21 because than you can go to all the places that serve alcohol or stay after certain times in bars. I thought it opened things up quite a bit honestly.

Re: ...Give me Ideas...

meeh. if i really wanted to buy alcohol, i can already basically. its not legal, but it works. just go into the store, tell them what i want, they get me it(they put all the hard liquor behind in a bullett proof case thing, as its a security measure), and i pay for it. its as easy as that. its all in how you walk, and the expression in your face when you put it on the counter to pay for it. kind of a confidence thing. if you can keep a straight face, you can get almost anything. i guess my grown out beard works as well.

i could buy smokes when i was about 16 or so. confidence thing again, but i only bought them for my friends that smoked, $5 a pack. its money.

as of now i have a rather large bottle sitting around, paul masson to be exact, and i have it for those nights that i cant seem to fall asleep, which happens once in a blue moon. dont use it for anything else though. i fall sleep sleep within 15 min, put in maybe less than a shot mixed with some kind of citrus juice or sugary liquid, and i sleep.

alochol is ok once in awhile but i'm never doing what i did saturday night every again. learned my lesson. lets say 5 shots of red label scottch and 2 shots of smirnoff vokda in less than 3 minutes with a orange soda chaser. hang over till monday. was horrible experence. i wonder how cassies can deal with all that.

thats really not that much for some people, that would get me a buzz, i guess its genetics. Which sort of sucks, cause then it gets a little more expensive

Re: ...Give me Ideas...

I have yet to get a hangover from vodka. Its such a clean alcohol. I usually get a hangover when I drink a ton of beer, i have a feeling its because I get so dehydrated.

Vodka does not tend to give hangovers like beer but I can guarantee you will puke at least twice as often off of vodka than you will beer.

Tolerance is only good up to a point. If you cant handle alcohol to begin with, you are not going to magically transform into a bottomless pit. You're right tho, taking a break for a while can make a big difference on what you can handle
