OBD2 Scan tool question....
Does anyone know if this scan tool can read tranny codes?
http://www.canobd2.com/tool/3130.asp Im supposed to be getting that from a friend any day now and Im hoping that its a good one and im not wasting my money.

As long as it is not a cheapy generic code only odb-ii scanner it should. The link claims:
Retrieves OBD2 DTCs: Generic Codes (P0, P2, P3, and U0) / Manufacturer Specific Codes (P1, P3, and U1) The tranny codes like P18XX are GM manufacturer specific extended codes. I have an Actron CP9145 which is similar to this one and it will read out tranny codes like P1811/1870.
