Question What Do You Think?

Well, I'm finally done with finals and my summer has begun!:ylsuper In a week, I'll be going to Japan for two months to see my parents, friends, and to watch the World Cup. I'm leaving my car in my garage until I get back but do you think I should change the oil before I leave or should I wait until I get back in two months. Also, if you have any advise on what to do, like disconnect the battery, give me some advise on what I should do to keep my car in good shape while I'm gone.

change the oil now and when you get back. it will help get rid of the gunk. I say disconnect the battery, but i don't think you have to. You might want to also consider getting rid of most of the gas in the tank. Or putting a fuel system cleaner in it when you get back, just in case the gas gets contaminated some how.
have fun on your trip.

Also keep in mind if you still have the stock honda radio and you disconnect the battery you will have to reenter the code into the radio to get it to work. So make sure you know the code. I'd do the oil change and disconnect the battery. I'd also get it washed and waxed.

for security sake, it would be a good idea to maybe have a friend check up on your car regularly....

I would think a full tank of gas would better, to keep condensation from building up

toss in some "Sta-Bil" in the tank... it stabilizes the gas so you dont have a rotten tank of gas when u come back. it also keeps moisture out.
