oil pressure gauge?
I have a 1990 chevy lumina euro with the gauge cluster. I was just wondering what the oil gauge is for and how to use it thanks.

Re: oil pressure gauge?
The "oil guage" monitors engine oil pressure and is fed a signal from a variable resistance oil pressure switch in the block. Cars with the standard cluster use an idiot light that uses a different sensor that is on/off only and will not operate the guage. As long as the wiring harness to the cluster is the same between the two, changing the sensor in the block to one with the guage should fix it.
