95 Neon Gauge Problem
My daughter has a 95 Neon and the gauges wont work. We have checked the connections and they seem to be fine. They work part of the time.

Re: 95 Neon Gauge Problem

Re: 95 Neon Gauge Problem
You can try to reflow the cluster. I have posted this before...

Re: 95 Neon Gauge Problem
I was having probs with my 96 gauges. I did as the one site said to solder the points and it got my temp and speed gauges working, but my gas gauge still wont work. I have even went as far as changing the instrument cluster, same thing, the gas guage still won't work. I have checked my fuses, etc still dont have a gas gauge which is a paranoia to me. I HATE not knowing how much gas I have, in fear of running out where no stations are at.
I NEED HELP with the gas gauge only. |

Re: 95 Neon Gauge Problem
Could be your fuel sending unit needs to be replaced.

Re: 95 Neon Gauge Problem
well as stated before I have changed the gauges 3 times now, and same thing every time so I dont think it's the gauges, I got mine off of ebay for $20. So the gauges aren't the issue, put each one of these in another Neon that does work and they all work in that one. So I know it's the the gauges. That's why I need the sending unit but they dont sell just the sending unit, have to buy the whole fuel pump assembly for $210.

Re: 95 Neon Gauge Problem
You could take your chances and pull one from a junkyard.
