92 gs tail/dash light

Last week my cruise/horn fuse blew and every time I replaced it it would blow. I traced the problem to the cruise brake part so I re wired that part, everything worked. I took 12v from the fuse box and a ground from the chassis and "ghetto" rigged the brake lights. Now tonight I got pulled over for not having any tail lights, I found the fuse and replaced it and turned my lights on and it blew the fuse right away. I think there is a hard short somewhere in the system. I tried it again after I disconnected my previous rigging and it still blew the fuse, making me think that it is an unrelated problem. Has anyone had this problem before, and if so how can I fix it. The shops charge too much for electrical work and I am very poor, my job requires me to drive home after dark and I need them fixed, any help would be great, THANKS!
