414i engine

Hi. could anyone tell me if the rover 1.4 i DOHC is the same as the honda 1.4 i and if it is what is the model number on either the honda or rover engine eg B16a for honda or whatever it is. Cheers!

Cheers pal. I was just wondering if engine modifications i saw for a 1.4 honda could be used on the rover 414i. Air intakes and manifolds and whatnot! know what i mean? what you think?

The Rover uses their own K series engine whilst the Honda uses the Honda lump so non transferable parts. It's the earlier 216/416 and Honda Concerto that used the same engines
