Re: Suggest/Recommend Site to Sell My Babie'94DOHC/VTEC
sadly, even with all that, the MOST you'll get for it is prolly gonna be at or just under $10,000. You never get back what you put into cars. Try solsociety.com, automotivetech.org, and local car forums for wherever you live.

Re: Suggest/Recommend Site to Sell My Babie'94DOHC/VTEC
another idea for you, to make *some* of the money back, is to put the car as close to stock as you can.. sell people your aftermarket stuff with the understanding that you're getting a stock part back... for example, sell the intake for $150 plus a stock one, or sell the valve cover for $85 plus a stock one.. get it? You'll make the most money doing it that way.. just sucks to have to sit and tear down your child... I had to do the same thing when my sol was totalled.

Re: Suggest/Recommend Site to Sell My Babie'94DOHC/VTEC
Thanks 94SolGrl for the info...I get ya...prob I have is I do not get that so many do not understand just how rare this car is
...Acura produced more '98-'00-'01 DC2R Integra Type-Rs then Honda made of these DOHC/VTEC DelSols...I have read that there were less then 1700 manufactured of these with the B16A3DOHC...(actually the '96-'97 got the B16A2 that the '00-'01 Civic Si got) that is as many of just the '00-'01 Pheonix Yellow ITRs out there...those that idiots have not taken to their early graves...I have sold cars and not made half the money I put into them but I have $32k (car and parts) into this one and it only has 70k original miles...it REALY is a creampuff...just got to find the right customer and that is why I am on this thread...gotta have hope or go broke |

Re: Suggest/Recommend Site to Sell My Babie'94DOHC/VTEC
I'd honestly be hella surprised if you got more than 10k for it. My friend Blair sold his 95 DOHC VTEC for about $11k I think.. he was the original owner, it had 60k on the clock, uber rare body kit imported from Austria, the FIRST S2000 tail conversion, tweed interior, mint in and out. And that was him waiting about 6months to sell it... he had plenty of $8k, $8.5k offers, but he just had to wait it out.
And you don't have to educate me on del Sols and the motors that came in them... thanks... |

Re: Suggest/Recommend Site to Sell My Babie'94DOHC/VTEC
you couldnt ship your car because of those mods?????????
well, how are you shipping it? who did you take it to? DOD assisted shipping services? where are you shipping to? i say you arent looking hard/trying enough. if you dont want to try, then, put it back to stock. i would also like to inquire as to exactly why you couldnt ship it. ive been through your shoes back in my E1 days. if you need help, some more details please. 1LT Lee USAR
