Re: looking to buy a blazer
You might want to spend some time reading around here before you buy one . I am a diehard bowtie man but they have some problems . I had a full size one before my current project . If you are not on a first name basis with an auto parts manager , you will be soon with an older one .
Just when I think all is well , something else messes up and I have to fix it . Electrical issues are very common . Good luck , Rob

Yes as Rob said you will be on first name basis with the parts people. If you can get like me as soon as you come in they get the computer all loaded up lol.

Re: looking to buy a blazer
You might want to look at local auctions of EBAY, or better look on www.autotrader.com.
If your getting an older blazer make sure that you are good with fixing electrical problems that seems to be the biggest problem............ Stick with the basics if you can try to steer clear of power options. If you want a blazer that has power options, just make sure that they are all in good condition

www.cars.com
www.autoshopper.com and ebay works great when you set your search options to within 250 or so miles of where you live.

Re: looking to buy a blazer
ya, I posted for my brother, we wanted me to post. I'm not the biggest fan of blazers, but I think they can be nice. For some reason he wants one though, he's looking at another car tomarrow so I don't think he'll get a blazer, plus they're expensive around here. thanks for the info guys, more to use on him to not get one.

Re: looking to buy a blazer
We never said not to get one. Just with any older vehichle there are certain problems that come with it and electrical problems happen from one vehicle to the next. These trucks are quite reliable and are pretty easy to fix.

These trucks really are quite reliable I have done things in mine that most cars would never be able to handle without breaking anything........ Mechanically they are pretty much immaculate (well maybe thats a stretch) there are plenty of rusted out blazers running through my town on their last leg. You just dont see that with many other cars.........
