Exclamation 95 crown victoria odometer

Hey can any tell me why all of a sudden the oddometer quit working and the trip oddometer also. The speedometer works fine. Would I need to replace the whole assembly. Or is there a wire that came loose. It quit a 89784 miles about a month ago.
Please advise
Thanks Ray.

Re: 95 crown victoria odometer

Taht's a fairly common problem on 92-94 models, but IIRC not on 95 up MY. If the speedo is working, the problem is in the gauge. Some speedometer repair shops can fix them, but it would probably be cheaper to find a 95-97 instrument panel from a recycler with similar mileage.
