96 406 2.1DT Speedo problems

The speedo only works sometimes but usualy if i go faster then 60mph.

The sensor is fine, all wiring and earth leads are fine, the speedo is 100% ok (tested) all the connections on the speedo are excellent.

Now, 406 got this adaptive power steering that changes with speed, when the speedo is not working it is very very light, a lot lighter then what is should be.

The ecu is getting the speed signal but does not seem to regulate PAS or send the signal to the speedo...

I am thinking ECU? What do you think?
