97 Chevrolet z24

I have a 97 Z24 5 speed. I bought the car from dealer about 2 years ago. The car has a body kit and everything. Ever since I bought the car, I have been having problems with the eletrical. I kept bringing it back and they kept fixing it and it still keeps happening. Can't bring it back now because the warenty is over and I paid the car off.

Who ever had the car before me put in fog lamps. I think the problem is with the fog lamps. I keep blowing fuses (head lights, dash lights etc) I put in new fuses and everything is fine for a while then I have to replace the fuses again. For the first time, I just took out the fog lamp fuse altogether and everything seems fine for now ) its only been a few days and I am too afraid to drive the car now.

What could be the problem. Is it going to be expensive to fix?

any advice????
thank you,
Holly

Re: 97 Chevrolet z24

who ever put them probably wired them through either the ignation or the the head light switch. It is probably too much of a load. Just hard wire the fog lamps in and try that route. Htats the bad part when you buy a used modded car. People half ass shit and don't care.
