'98 convertable leaking water into the cabin
my sebring has been leaking a great deal of water in to the foot wells, and the problem is only getting worse, i cannot find anything above the water line thats wet, and when it rains i can hear water in what sounds like the rear quarter panel behind the driver. I've been going mad trying to figure the problem out, anybody have any ideas?

You better hurry though because I also recall one other guy who continued to ignored it and then had rust problems under there. I hope this helps.

it was probably me who your talking about...
if you park it on a hill (front end down) it doesnt drain all that well, and on top of that the drain holes get full of stuff very easy. What i finally decided was happening was that the water was coming up through the body welds and the bolt holes holding the seats in. |

Re: '98 convertable leaking water into the cabin
Go to sebringclub.net. It's a club devoted to bring verts and there are a lot of posts there on the problem in the interior and convertible top section. you may just have clogged up drain slots. They are under your rocker panels and you have to use a hacksaw blade or nylon ty wrap or similar thin, stiff item to poke them out.
