Arch extenders? Interesting interpretation. I took it to mean the extension in front of the rear wheel arches since they were talking about the sides vs the entire rear.

Considering GM's background in racing.... From a racers viewpoint, if it works better.. then its beautiful thing. lol.

I had these same Veyron thoughts kicking around in my head as I wrote that stuff last night. Not to drag this discussion too far off line (or further than it already has been) but a recent article states that 3 of 5 Veyron test models at the press intro ended up on the sidelines. Not a good sign...
