GTR #05R spotted at Circuit du Luc in France...

Well I guess if no one else is going to share these here, I will.

Pics courtest of MIURA1 on SuperCarFrance.com

It's nice to see this car resurface in the same condition it was last seen. It also appears that the owner of the car may be the same.

Thanks to cabrio92 for alerting me to these photos. I would have seen them eventually, but it was a great way to start the day.

I sort of like the paint job but I'm afraid I have no idea what it is supposed to represent. Can anyone give me some hints? Guess I'm just not an art connoisseur.
I liked some of the BMW art cars better than this work.

I don't see why we should always be the ones posting "new" pics. That message board has been mentioned on here numberous times and its not that hard to check up on it every now and then.

Posts like this:

Now, granted, Bucciali has shared more than enough info with us and i'm not picking on him at all. But i think that other people have this opinon. They think that they don't need to bother to look for new pics becuase we'll do all the searching and just post them here. Why don't some of the "lurkers" start to contribute. No doubt this post will incite some arguements but lets save it and enjoy this thread.

I think that last line of his was a bit of light-hearted humor. Of course it would have been more clear with a smiley or two, but I don't see him or really anyone in particular here as the type to demand people find them photos.

I was also kidding when I called you three "Lazy Bastards"

If there are some lurkers here benefitting from all our hard work, I'm fine with that. It would be nice to see a few more contributors from time to time, but we can't expect everyone with fresh F1 content to find us. I would like to see more of the lurkers reply from time to time, especially if their reply was just to say "thanks", that would be great. It's obvious by the number of views threads get in here that we have a larger audience then we probably realize. As long as people's comments are constructive I'm happy to hear what anyone has to say, even if I choose to disagree with them in the end.

Honestly, I don't care who posts something here - I just want to make sure we get a hold of as much F1 content as possible, and especially the really great stuff like that set of #05R photos above. We can't continue to claim we are 'the single greatest resource for F1 content on the web' if we let stuff like that slip by.

It seems like there would/could/should be, but I haven't found or even seen any mention of any yet.

Yes, that would be me. Thank you Peloton. Unfortunately I don't have time to go look for F1 content, and when I do its usually old or someone has already posted them. What I do have time for is to check this forum every once in a while for the best/newest F1 content on the net. So from all the "lurkers," I would like to thank ALL the contributors on this forum. Your work is greatly appreciated, even if it doesnt seem like it or no one says it. Most of my collection comes from your contributions, so please, keep posting.

*lurker speaking*

i frequently visit this forum here. although i don't see that many interesting things posted on AF, i have to say that the F1 section here is prob one of THE most specialised and active groups i've seen on the net.

i respect all the work you guys do, and i'm amazed by your knowledge on this best of all supercars.
however, i feel like i'd be spamming if i replied to just say 'thanks', or 'that's a wondefull car'.
if all lurkers would do so, this forum would be harder to search for the right info i guess.

but here it goes, for this one time, and i honestly mean thsi:

thank you guys, for sharing you files, pics and extensive knowledge!

Thank you again. I wouldn't consider it spam to say thank you. At least then, i know my work is being appreciated.
