It was expensive..... not only because of the cost of the parts, but breaking things all the time gets pricey too. I drove it daily with the turbo on it, but you have to get everything 100% correct before it can be a daily driver. Honestly, once you get that deep into a newer 4.3L, it is a pain in the ass and things go wrong all the time. Not only that, but you need to have LS-1 edit to mess with the computer and fuel tables, and tuning is a bitch. Really the best thing to do would be to have a custom intake manifold fabbed up for it with bigger injectors as you can't replace the injectors on a 4.3L stock manifold. If you want more information about turboing it let me know.


I also have a supercharger kit on this thing before I turboed it, and that thing put out some nice power too. That might be an easier way to go if you want to daily drive it.

But can I still tow and use it daily? Like have it be reliable?
