Replace ABS brakes in Voyager?
I have a 1991 Plymouth Voyager van, with ABS brakes beginning to give me problems. Is it possible to replace the ABS hydraulic unit with non ABS master cylinder and bypass the ABS system? What other parts would need to be replaced? Any advice appreciated.

Re: Replace ABS brakes in Voyager?
if I understand you correctly, you want to basically turn a vehicle w/ ABS into a non-ABS vehicle by bypassing the hydraulic ECU. You can, but you would have to get all new brake lines. With ABS, as long as your red brake light is not on (not when the parking brake is set) then you're ok. A malfunctioning ABS system will not normally affect regular braking. I can understand you wanting to bypass the hydraulic ECU, those things are very expensive.
