Hi I have a 2003 Dakota V6 3.9 4wd 5 Speed. I am replacing the clutch and need to know what gear oil I need to put in the tranny when I'm putting it all back together. If anyone has the answer to my question I'd really appreciate it!

Re: Which gear oil for 03 Dakota V6 4wd 5sp
You can use:
Regular 5w-30 motor oil (ie:Castrol motor oil) Amsoil 5w-30 synthetic motor oil Redline MTL oil I'm running Amsoil 5w-30 motor oil, this stuff works great. The shifts are a lot smoother than the mopar oil. Why did you have to change the clutch so soon?? Anthony |

Thank you so much! Even the dodge dealer didn't have an answer for me.
