that is totally bad ass. those c6's are beast. any car that traps 114mph is a beast in my books, but yeah lets just hope for the better and hope that the cop didn't see you guys doing 130mph.

That kinda counteracts your sig.

The "Boost is Better" stuff makes me laugh when I see a post with you saying ANYTHING trapping 114 is a beast. I don't have boost, and should be trapping around 113-114 off this mountain. I don't care about turbo lag....I have torque.

That's one crazy car man, sounds like an amazing run. Glad to hear the guy was at least semi-cool too. Hopefully he didn't take it too hard.

Re: GTP v. C4(i&e) then... GTP v. C6

hey luos, just curious, wut has ur car run as far as et's? if youve run it. im wonderin cuz i got a silverado that i want an LS1 in BAD. and if u cant take the C6 stock who cares? u got a back seat. sort of lol. and as far as makin the rear wheel horsepower a 350Z does, y dont u tell TATII wut the trans ams and SS's run at the wheels stock hahaha. its amazing that the importance of torque is lost on so many expert street racers. if i cant get wut i want from the truck then an F body is next. cryin shame chevy gave up on em.

I was really just playing around with my post.
Corrected ET's....12.8 at 113.
Actual ET....14.0 at 105.2.
I use NHRA correction factors for actual altitude, not actual DA. Most of the time I race, the DA is over 6500. The tracks altitude is 5860 feet. Eats a ton of power from an N/A car.
Bandimere Raceway.

Nice run, hadn't heard much from you lately, glad to see you are still running strong and blowing the doors off the fast and expensive. Keep it up!

i think he can argue that torque is not as important as horsepower when he does highway racing (which is what tat does, correct me if i'm wrong).

Re: Re: Re: GTP v. C4(i&e) then... GTP v. C6

SOme interesting comparisonsI used 330whp to account for running 2#s less boost)

C6 Z51
-------------------------
race weight: 3250lbs
drive: RWD
whp: ~340whp
Torquecurve: flat to ~400lbs

My GTP
-------------------------
race weight: ~3250lbs
drive: FWD
whp: ~330whp
Torquecurve: steep decline from ~400lbs

nice kills, are you done modding your car? Or are you going to do some more? Also, how is your car as a daily driver? Or do you have another daily driver? L67 > ls2 ! (I would kill for a 05 GTO though)

You followed a guy to his house....skeeeeetchy
