Progress: Mercedes 500 SEC Lorinser

Hello,

This is my in progress model: the 500 SEC Lorinser.
It will be TS14 black.
It will be a bit like this, except for wheels (my version has BBS mesh ones) :

Instructions call for two tone paint scheme but I will paint it one color.

Pictures of progress so far:

I'm so glad...

Wow, next Mercedes at automotive forum ; -))
I'm so happy !

I have the same MB SEC (still in box). Is it Tamiya one ? Right ?
(Revell also has 500SEC but this one looks like Tamiya's kit)

Chrome window trim looks like ordinary chrome paint, why You did't use Bare Metail foil for it ?

I'm waiting for next pictures of this model.
But You shoul work on paint job, use Tamiya compound to polish paint, then it will look very shiny as a real automotive paint !
(You are able to remove this awesome orange pill)

Then your MB SEC will be clearly brilant work ; -))

Keep it up !

Nice Coupe!

I've had one of these kits forever, I always seem to find something I'd rather build, but I am going to get around to it someday...lol
