Alfa 33 trip computer info req'd

I bought a red single-carb 1984 Alfa 33 as spare parts for my white twin-carb 1988 Alfa 33. The red car came with a box of bits from yet another Alfa 33 that had been dismantled, and among the bits is a trip computer that I would like to fit to my white car, but is it possible? Do I have to have fuel injection? I have an 88kb picture montage showing electrical connections. All help gratefully received.
