I don't really feel the color. I'm curious how it'll look in the end. Keep it up.

I would have never thought of a color like that for the car...it'll be interesting to see how it looks when you polish it out.

I know that the colour is a bit left field But im super confident that it will deliver once polished and cleaned up, i too struglled to imagine the overall picture but once i saw the paint lid, i had to have this colour.

I couldnt help polish a small section to see what the effect was like. I was impressed the mica flakes had a bit of a goldish hue when in the sun, its nothing like chameleon paint but its subtle enough to notice such differences in tone,I cant wait to polish this car.

One thing i forgot to mention about this paint is that the curing time is super fast, you could polish it the next day if you really want to, but i usually give it atleast 5 days before i do any polishing just to make sure that the paint is rock hard.

Great choice of colour....should really suit the lines of the body once everything is laid out...
Keep up the great work.

Here's a quick shot of the roof, bit hard to see the true colour and mica flakes bur you get the idea what its going to look like. its still in its raw state, will start wet sanding and polishing by this evening.

Im pretty happy with the colour, trying to power through this build since im running out of time, hopefully have this baby finish by next thursday otherwise its going to be 8 weeks till i get back.

Will upload more pics in the next few days. Cheers!

DAMN!!!!!

Ok guys I had to walk away from the car just then!!, all was going so well until just a couple of minutes ago.I spent the last few hours and yesterday wet sanding+polishing the paint work.I was so happy because this was one of the best paint that ive ever done, the surface was flawless and the shine was fantastic.

I was approx 99% finished until i put the body down and the nose grazed my fresh #1 knife, to my horor it scratched the nosed and chipped the paint down to the white primer, by this time the profanities were coming out thick and fast!

Anyway im sure you guys have had similar experiences, the thing that annoyed me the most is the i was just minutes until i was about to photograph the finished body and post it here until this happened, i guess this is what modeling is all about, its not major set back but the front end will have to be resprayed.sorry guys will post pics once i have this sorted out.

Lesson learnt here is put a lid on your blades and clean your bench lol

Thanks for the encouragement guys, Ive resprayed the affected area and its practically invisible,i know its there tho but im my worst critic i guess.

I should have this sorted over the next few days, on the positive side did a bit of carbon decal work today on the diffuser and all has gone smoothly.

As i mentioned before i was going to spray the wheels a bronze colour however i had the white wheels against the green and it kinda looked pretty good as well.
