Re: Income tax return stress...

yes it does - how bad does your body look? and what did you plan on doing to the engine? if you did the body work urself and you have a frend with tools, shouldn't cost more than a few hundred dollars (that's what i'll be doing soon i think).

Were you going to get some performance mods? or just get the engine running better? let us kno

when I got the car the person that owned it before me did a front end converson with a 96 honda civic. Although I kinda like it it looks a little bit more aggressive but the screwed the wireing up then he did it. and he did a bad job on the body work. so there are son cracks on the finders where he had to cut it. And the bumper sags... pritty bad. and when he did all that he did an engine swap with a d15b2.. so theres not much that I can do with that engine.. So im kinda stuck. becuse im a performance guy before I care about looks. but I dont have enough to get another engine. but my lights are causing me to have a short. So im kinda stuck between having the car work correctly and getting more HP. Sorry about putting this under the wrong thing...

Re: Income tax return stress...

hmm well if the engine runs fine and u don't foresee any immediate issues with it, i would personally wait on that a bit. especially if there's not much u can do with it and u can't afford another one. it'd be a toss up between the body work cuz it doesn't sound too pretty or fix the wiring. when wiring is messed up it drives me crazy. depending on how bad the wiring situation is, it could get a lot worse anyway.

SAVE YOUR $$$$, then you will have enough to do the motor you don't need much more.

That makes two of us. I was an AE in the navy (Avation Elec.)
So the wire issue drives me nuts. I started to look at the engine becuse it just didnt look right.. The Car is a SI and has a D15B2 in it. and he didn't install it correctly and when I shift is sounds like the tranny is torquing and slamming in to eather the frame or a mount somewhere but I cant find it.. and it doesnt do it all the time.
