I have a 2000 Hyundai Elantra GLS and the airbag light has come on. It came on just after I replaced the battery. Is there a reset for it or something? It is driving me crazy. Someone please email at [email protected] with some ideas. Thanks.

Re: Airbag Light
if the airbag light is on steady that means you have a problem that is occurring if the airbag light comes on after start-up and goes off it means you have a stored history code in memory if it flashes 5 times than goes off your system is operating correctly. You need to go have the code pulled than I could help you Only thing I can think of is make sure both frt seat dont have a lot of crap under them the side-airbag wiring and ppd wiring are under the seats and if yanked on or pulled tight it sometimes can cause a high resistance code good luck
