security light comes on and stays on

while im driving my sercurity light comes on and will stay on any help on i can fix it? i bought a manual but cant find it in there

Mine does that every once in a great while, it has to do with that VATS key resistor chip, but I'm not sure exactly what it is trying to tell me. Mine goes off after two minutes or so when it does it, though.
