Intake $150 to $200 or go to ebay and get it cheaper than that... and a high flow cat for about $150..... Or if you are real cheap do like me and build your own intake for $20 plus the filter!!!

you built your own intake with filter for $20..??....it must suck ass....anyway with $300 you can get a GOOD not homemade intake or, a header, or an exhaust system.....you could also try to get a port and polish job, but the labor charges may screw you up a bit....yeah just go with the intake, header, or exhaust ideas..

(bbc_flux) I would hate to know I was that dumb to talk bad about something that I have never seen... And I said $20 PLUS THE FILTER... I have a HKS open air filter And the intake is ceramic coated just like any others out there!!! I is just as good as any short arm intake out there with the HKS its probly better!!! I will post a pic soon and you decide how crappy it is!!! I spend my money only when I have too not for a stupid $150 piece of pipe that you can have made and painted any colour you want for $20!!! :smoka:

A cheap mod you can do yourself ould probably be the intake, or if you are really concerned with hp and torque increase, go for the header. Don't worry about the exhaust cause, its really doing nothing there except adding noise while releasing back pressure. Oh and by the way, AEM intakes run about $120 on impact parts. :flash:

Since we're on the subject of intakes, would an AEM CAI for a 90 Accord EX *stocK* perform considerable gains in speed? This car is for economic purposes but would it also do good gains for gas mileage?

Thumbs up

SPEND THE $200 ON AN AEM C.A. INTAKE. BEST BANG FOR THE BUCK. IT'LL BOOST YOUR H.P. AND T.Q. ACROOS YOUR POWERBAND AND OPEN UP YOUR ENGINE FOR FUTURE UPGRADES. IF YOU STILL HAVE A HUNDRED LEFT, GO TO A MUFFLER SHOP AND HAVE YOUR RESONATOR PULLED, OR JUST START SAVING FOR A GOOD CAT-BACK.
