Inherited '83 Caprice Classic Sedan 26k miles

My grandmother-inlaw just left us a white 1983 Caprice Classic Sedan in excellent condition with only 26k miles on it. I believe it was garaged.

I'm wondering what the heck to do with it...seems a shame to get rid of it, might be fun to show it or something. Is this make and model of any interest to enthusiasts? Should I just sell and not invite impending headaches? If I decided to sell it, what method would you suggest (local used car dealer, internet, ebay, etc.) I am not mechanically inclined, so long-term babying of this auto is not really my strong suit.

This is my first foray into figuring out what I should do, so any guidance would be helpful.

Clean it up really good and put it on e-Bay.

Need to see pics of the outside, inside, trunk, engine compartment, etc.

Lemme know when you post it.

If it's in original condition, it'd be a shame to modify it. However, if it sat in the garage with 10-year old gasoline (and all the other fluids) it'll need some "freshening up" before you try to sell it.

Um, did you like your grandmother-in-law? Did she like you?

I'll ask my father in law, but I think he used to take it out every month or so to keep the engine fresh (he tends to be good about those things).

Ebay sounds like an interesting way to go. Seems that one might get a better price there than the local used car guy...is that likely?

You will do much better on e-Bay, but private sale isn't a bad way to go either.

Check out e-Bay, Trader Online, Hemmings, etc and see what similar cars are going for.

Don't take it to a used car guy. You'll get hosed.

If you'd like, send me a personal message/e-mail and let me know what you'd like to do.
